Perfect Red Lipstick:Maybelline Superstay 14 Hour Lipstick – Non Stop Red – Review

Omg !! I am  posting  about  Red  Lipstick  again  :( :(  
I swear  i  promised  myself  to  go  strict and convince myself  to  restrict my  inclination  towards red lipsticks.
But  what  you  deserve comes automatically  ( ;-) lucky me! ).A contest  from  Maybelline instaglam  did show  up  and  having Won the  contest  they sent me  2  lippies and and a mesmerisingly supercool  colossal kohl.

Non-Stop  RED Shade:510 is one of the Product i won.

Maybelline 14 hour Super Stay lipstick Non Stop Red: 

Shade -510:

The shade Non Stop Red is a bright and vibrant red shade. I would not be wrong if I call it a Neon Red shade.; I find this perfect for myself too. It brightens up the whole face  which is why I favor this shade so much.It is a very pinkish-red colour with undertones of coral pink. It will look great on almost all  skin as it adds instant brightness to the face.

Pigmentation and Texture:

The pigmentation of this lipstick is great as 2-3 swipes give an opaque color payoff. The pigments are rich and vibrant and they stand out on your face. Texture is smooth when applied from the bullet but, since it is a long wearing formula the textures gets a little tacky and sticky after a few hours.This  might  prove  to  look  a little  bad  if you  have dry lips

Staying Power: The color does not go off anywhere for the first two and a half hour after which it starts fading from the centre of the lips (where lips meet) and you can do with it by pressing your lips against each other. The lipstick lasts really long maybe like for the whole day but the problem is that it starts cracking and creasing at the side of the lips and in the centre.After big meals  and  4 to 6 hours fading takes place but is not noticable and  is  so  unique that  it does not fade totally unless taken off.

Usage Dos and Don'ts: 

It will look more flattering on fair skin tone and medium to fair skin tone and can wash off dusky skinned beauties. 

This is not for college or office as it looks too bold and would be great for clubbing, parties and marriage function.

What I like about Maybelline 14 hour Super Stay lipstick Non Stop Red:

Amazingly pigmented. 

Yummillicious smell maybe like pastry or some flavored cake.

Can compliment youngster

Gets easily applied

Good even as a day wear

Nice pigmentation Smooth semi matte texture.

Does not feel heavy on lips

Non sticky

Survives meals

Stays super long, Lasting power is great, lasts for as long as you want them to be but has a tendency to tug and crease after 5-6 hours. 

Gives opaque coverage. 

Does not transfer onto cups 

No bleeding at all

What I dislike about Maybelline 14 hour Super Stay lipstick Non Stop Red:

Not conditioning

The packaging is  not much  flattering,  round shaped outer cases are better. 

You need to have properly exfoliated and moisturized lips to wear these lipsticks or they can look very weird. 

This shade will not suit dusky skin tone beauties. 

Not everyone will like the formula but I like it! 

pricey ! Rs. 525 for 3.3 grams is  a bit more  on  high side
