WINTER-LOVE is all about creamy lipstick -Maybellline Color Show Lipstick 207 Cherry Crush: Review & Swatches FOTD

Winter is approaching and my lips have already started giving me reminders .So my matte liquid lippe collection is somehow now not that favourite.I have been looking for a soft and subtle shade with creamy texture .Maybelline’s colorshow range caught my attention. MNY is Offering 27 shades, this lip color range has a lipstick for every mood! The Color Show lipsticks have vibrant color pigments and a soft, non-sticky texture. The best part is that they also moisturize your lips, keeping them soft and supple! Soft I thought why not try the cherry crush one,so Maybelline ColorShow Lipstick  207 Cherry Crush came home with me .

Packaging:  I am not really a fan of MNY’s packaging ,the lipstick comes in a shiny black plastic packaging .A typical old school type rectangular packaging where the cap click shuts firmly. It will not fascinate you unless you tent to love old school stuff but trust me the sturdy nature of the packaging will make you forget the nay factor . The color coded stickers at the bottom of the lipstick makes it easy to detect the color in your makeup bag.

Texture & Color: The lipstick has a soft, creamy , smooth and easy gliding texture. This shade has a lovely glossy finish. Nothing overly glossy, just apt for a creamy lipstick.I love this color very much . It is a beautiful  blend of cherry red and pink with faint coral hint.

My experience with Maybelline Color Show Lipstick  207 Cherry Crush:

As I mentioned while describing the texture and color ,I love the color very much. This color  has become  one of my favorite winter  shade. I should tell you all one thing this lipstick’s color is a little confusing judging by not only picture but in person too. Its color will actually depend on your lip’s color, undertone and pigmentation . But the best part it shows up very pretty on all sorts of Indian complection. 

The lipstick is semi sheer in a single swipe but the color is easily buildable. Just some two –three swipes and there you have opaque coverage.I simply love that ,but one thing I must say , the pigmentation of the lipstick could have been a little more intense .

I know the price is a factor still you do get better pigmentation in much lower price and better staying power in india.The texture is a healer and pleaser that makes you forget about the not so pleasant pigmentation. It glides like dream.

 

This pretty shade stays on my lips  for some 3-4 hours and after which it leaves behind a lovely faint stain which is easy to remove. This lipstick will not survive heavy meals, but it is snack friendly . 

Pros:

Smooth ,soft and  Creamy Texture the lipstick glides like cream.

Color coded stickers make it easy to identify the color.

A perfect Glossy finish, keeps my lips moisturized .

Sturdy packaging,I would thus rate it travel friendly.

Does not bleed.

Feels light on lips .

Cons :

Pigmentation could have been better.

Packaging is too old school.
