NIVEA Frangipani & Oil Shower Gel Review

It has been pretty long I have not discussed about a luxury soap or body cleanser .Trust me the demonetization thing affected shopping mania of shopaholics a lot . I have recently grabbed a good Shower Gel from my trusted brand Nivea.Nivea Shower Gel & Body Wash comes in many I am Dove Milk Body Wash Person that switches to Body Shop during summer and sometimes in winter too, needless to say i haven't used Nivea Body Wash before and this is the first time I am using this. As you all no ever since I got my hands on showergels and body washes I always prefer using shower gel than bar soap because its so refreshing. My mom used used to buy nivea skin cream for me ever since I crossed the baby product age ,followed by nivea soft . My family trusts this range a lot ,even the body lotion I use is from nivea.So the trust I have been nurturing for this brand made me buy  this body cleanser with Frangipani. After using it for about few weeks, here is my detailed review on it.

How to Apply : Pour shower gel onto wet hands, wash cloth or pouf. Massage over body. Rinse off.

PACKAGING: This Frangipani body wash from Nivea comes in a beautiful looking transparent bottle with a flip cap. I found the packaging quite impressive so could not miss this one out.

The bottle is quite sturdy and appears blue because of the light ocean blue colored shower gel inside. The gel is light blue in color and is of medium consistency, little thick and contains tiny yellow colored beads spread throughout.

MY EXPERIENCE:

First of all this shower gel on application, lathers well. If you use a loofah you can experience thick rich lather.The fragrance of this shower gel is too good. As expected, I felt completely overwhelmed by its fragrance and just could not stop smelling it. I have used luxury soaps with nice fragrance before but this is not over powering and I loved it.The fragrance of this cleanser is something everyone would love and I love the after bath feeling that is similar to that of spa refreshment.

On application, the gel is very smooth and the beads are present for exfoliation .

I did expect this to behave  like a heavy duty exfoliating body wash because of the presence of soft yellow beads in it.  The beads were  are gentle enough to have not disturbed if you have small rashes.  It did not exfoliate  the dull dry patchy skin near elbows, but leaves skin nicely clean and refreshed without any residue left behind. Even in december’s delhi weather I did not feel the need to rush to my moisturizer.

This is somewhat on affordable side

The packaging  looks  refreshing and temps enough to grab them.

Not overpowering yet refreshingly sensuos smell.

Leaves skin clean , refreshed and hydrated upto some extent.

Lathers well when used with loofah.

Affordable and small quantity needed to fulfill the cleansing duty.

CONS

Does not exfoliate dead skin .

I wish the seductive fragrance lasted long enough.

Contains parabens.
