Valentine’s Day is approaching !! is’nt that fabulous ..? Trust me lovelies ,my excitement  about Valentine’s Day is as dim as swallows in winter . I admit, you people are probably going to read this on a tiring Monday or full paced Tuesday . Today after a tiring and lathergic weekend i am sitting here , almost set to write something I don’t usually write about . Trust me lovelies , this time I am writing not only for you people but a lil bit for myself too. Hope you guys will forgive me for being quaterly selfish for the first time . I am sitting here all set to convince myself that I can write beyond product reviews .

So, love is in the air right ? And red is the color of love .. Bollywood so far have injected our mind that Valentine’s Day is suppose to be all Red !!!! 

So today I am definitely going to tell you all about some affordable drugstore Red Lipsticks that gives you awesomely romantic look from matured Red to Peppy Blossoms …

So here we start ..

Maybelline 14HR Super stay Non-stop Red :First of all Let me introduce you all to this lovely shade of red .This is a very very youth full shade of red . Trust me , if you are introduced to this shade in your teenage trust me ladies, you’re spoiled . Now ,the average red lippies are not going to impress you anylonger .

I am not really going to classify the packaging as awesome ,sturdy or classy ,instead I am calling it convinient . I can easily find it out from my makeup collection.Why ? I guess you can see.It will not last 14hr but 6-7hour is promised .

This shade of red is a Red with pinkish under tone , it’s absolutely lovely. It has matte texture,and I wont call it easy gliding .

Price: 575/- you can buy them online much cheaper

Sivanna Lip Crayon Shade 12: Remember Deepika Padukone’s orangish red lipstick . I know she must be wearing something from a hi-end brand but trust me this on is a perfect dupe ,if you wanna achieve that look.Packaging is not sturdy ,but I am a fan of anything retractable.

Texture is matte yet not really dry one ,it glides very easily and does’nt feel dry.This particular shade looks very very ravishing on dusly indian skin too . Availablity is an issue.

It is priced between 299-400 INR/- varies a little .Offline availability is rare in Delhi and Nil at kolkata.

Maybelline Color Show Big Apple Red: Texture of this matte from the colorshow range is surely going to win your heart . This is a very very soft moisturising and easy gliding matte .

Stays on lips for good 4-5hours surviving meals . A light snack session or coffee wont really be hard on it . This is more a matured shade of tomato red and looks stunning on fair-medium complection . It is a best choice for matured beauties .

Price: Rs 299/- is unbelievably affordably and availability is pretty good .

Street Wear Color Rich Riveting Rouge : Riveting Rouge is a another matured tomato red more inclined towards maroon and beautified with absolute lovely pinkish undertone. Its is one of the most underrated Red Lipstick that is supposed to be much more popular that it is . 

Texture wise it is not matte ,I would’nt call it helplessly glossy too . It sometimes tends to look neonish and staying power is incredible.

Stays for good 6-7 hours and this lipstick will never dissappoint you.

Price: Varies from 199-220/-

Offline availability is not much incredible in my city .

Elle 18 Color Boost Red Passion: Trust me ,a perfect red can come in tight budget too . If you are a college goer and this is gonna be the first valentine’s day you are experimenting with makeup ,you can blindly trust elle 18 . In my high school life when first started growing that bit of ego of not touching mom’s makeup collection and buying stuff from my pocket money ..it was a elle 18 inclined . Trust me now that I’m into hi-end plus standard drugstore brand , I must say the nostalgia of elle 18 continues .

You know I was  talking about Deepika’s Orangish Red …Elle 18’s Color Boost range can be compared  to Street Wear’s Color Rich one’s judging by their texture and peppy catchy packaging . 

This Shade of Red as you know comes with crème and vita E ,but it is not helplessly glossy . It is a lot like moisturising matte with opaque finish . It lasts for good 5 hours and guess what they come at dirt cheap price of 150 INR . Yes, please believe me if you are trying to figure out drawbacks even lipsticks from good drug-store brand ranging between 300-600 comes with such drawbacks. I love  to braise lippies that nourishes my lips too .

Incase you all want to know about any super affordable great quality lipliner , I would say I use Miss Claire . I guess you’ll have already read my review of Miss Claire Lip Cream . I must say I love their lipliner too . You can get it at any store in your city ,sometimes if you ask for good quality local ones they end up showing this liner .This liners comes at dirt cheap price of Rs.60/-

Off and Online price is supposed to range from Rs 50-100/-
