It's Time To Awaken Your Bong Self With 'Jago Tumi Jago': Durga Pujo is the best Run Way to Flaunt your best

The azure sky with fleecy white clouds and the nip in the air marks the advent of autumn.Cotton like clouds hovering above the paddy fields and meeting each other at the horizon. The kash flowers fluttering by the sides of the fields, the familiar sound of Dhak, Dhunuchi nachh, the mild fragrance of Shiuli, gives a familiar tug to every Bengali heart. The beauty of Bengal knows no bounds. The eyes satisfy in looking to the fields. The paddy field waves and dances gently and pleasantly with the blowing winds. This pleasant weather whispers ‘’Maa Ashchhen”

‘Durga’ in Sanskrit means "She who is incomprehensible or difficult to reach." Goddess Durga is a form of Shakti worshiped for her gracious as well as terrifying aspect. She is considered as Jagat Janani Tribhubaneshwari (Mother of the Universe, she represents the infinite power of the universe and is a symbol of a female dynamism).
Mahalaya ushers in the aura of Durga Puja. The countdown for the Durga Puja begins much earlier, from the day of 'Janmastami'. According to the folklore, on this day, Goddess Durga begins her journey to the earth, her paternal home from the home of her in-laws. The entire fortnight from Prathama (the first day after Mahalaya) to Lakshmi Puja is called the “Devi Paksh” (meaning “the fortnight of the Goddess”). Though the entire Puja is for ten days, but nowadays, except for the orthodox families, the other pujas arranged by Puja committees, housing societies and clubs are usually for the last five days. Shashti, Saptami, Ashthami, Nabami and Dashami. The last day is called Vijaya Dashami that means the Day of Victory of good over evil.

Durga Puja is actually the chance for all of us to flaunt our best .Infact the streets of the city turns out to be open runway for fashionistas . But a bong is incomplete without her signature khadi or linen saree and patent bindi . So we’re going see how we can go for this look.

I actually love khadi linen sarees ,this one is actually a cotton and linen blend .I am wearing a sleeves sambalpuri designer cotton blouse . One thing about owning these blouses kind of have benefits .Once you invest in one such blouse you can actually pair it with matching or contrast sarees .
