Budget Red to Love- Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon Berry Red Review :FOTD

Dear Dolls,

I am going to be a little late to post my next blog , after a long time I am travelling .Well, I should say taking time out to set my Delhi –Kolkata loop at periphery .I am definitely not hiding my excitement because this time it’s ain’t any conservation architecture and exploring the history of ancient architecture project .Be it short ( read tiny) it deserves some excitement . So I am gonna be late for my next post. Did I ever tell you all that I have a bad habbit of forgetting my stuff at hotel ?

Travelling without a perfect red LIPPIE is something I am never gonna do ,but forget  Ruby Woo I am not even taking the risk of carrying Maybelline 14 hours superstay Non-stop Red .I am gonna take a budget friendly and easily available one .I chose Lakme Enrich Satin Lip Crayon Berry Red .

Let me tell you all about my experience with this lippie,

Application:

Just open the cap and start applying the product from the centre of your upper lip.

Apply from the centre towards the outer edges of your lip, following the contours of your mouth.

Now,Glide the product across the entire bottom lip.

This step is definitely  optional but you could use a tissue to blot out the extra product.

My Experience :

Looks literaly like crayon and reminds me of my childhood ones .I was expecting the product to be matte as they don’t say oil pastel/oil crayon .Needless to say I was expecting the product to be a lil dry but luckily the presence of natural shea butter, cocoa butter and jojoba oil made this product a super gliding one .

I was not expecting amazing color pay off , but it was amazing . Staying power is a little weak but stays for good four hours .Not really consistent enough to survive a meal ,but not exactly a total fade away stuff . What else can you ask for. The presence of sharpner already conveyed it is not retractable like the previous crayons by lakme’s absolute range . The sharpener is designed with two different slots one to sharment the pencil another for the tip of the crayon .Kudos !!!! I don’t need to carry lip liner seperately . 

Pros:

Not a drying matte,No tugging/pulling.

No settling into fine lines.

Leaves an even stain behind.

Stays on for 3-4 hours.

Deep Berry Red colour suitable for Indian complexions.

Cons:

Not retractable pencil.

Tip gets blunt really easily.
